My second outing with the S30 was with the TH10 tripod head. Setup was easy and the images of 3 different targets turned out great. I am very impressed with the results even before I have a good handle on all of the available features. So many things I want to try now. An S50 may even be in my future.
So light, so carbon, and travel sized! Little legs has it all. Compared to my older EQ-35 tripod I am now 100% hernia free!
I have 2 of these on my Skywatcher tripods from AZ-EQ5 pros. They mount up perfectly and make for a long pier as this tripod already has a pier. This pier is super sold and I'm using these on AM5ns.
A bit tricky to set up in NINA, but once it's installed it works very nice. It saves me a lot of time.
I purchased this with the hope that I wouldn't need to use it. I didn't need to use it as my delivery was handled perfectly. I can't comment on the process of making a claim because I didn't have to.
I like this and have 2 now, as well as no counterweights. A great product and seamless with the Asiair.
I was new to astrophotography when I purchased my first Seestar S50 two years ago. It was the perfect entry-level telescope and ZWO's firmware and software updates over the two years since have allowed me to advance my abilities and interests to what I consider well-beyond 'entry-level.' My most-recent purchase of a second S50 will allow me to double my target-list or capture and combine twice as much DSO data for increased clarity and definition.
This scope out performs my other smart scope when it comes to larger nebulae.I got great photos of the Eastern and Western Veils and the North America Nebula. The field of view is wider and it was able to easily frame the full moon and the sun. Sunspots were sharp and bright. It is incredibly easy to use and only weighs a few pounds. My only complaint: I wish there was a way to enter coordinates (RA and DEC) for objects not included in the catalogue of objects. I still need to test it on galaxies and clusters but so far I couldn't be happier with this purchase, especially for the price.
